Lisa Emelia Svensson appears in 24 emails in Epstein's archive, spanning 2012 to 2019. She met Epstein in Washington in October 2012. A month later, when she told him about her appointment as Sweden's Ambassador for Ocean and Water, Epstein directed her to "read up and meet ghisaline," linking to Ghislaine Maxwell's TerraMar Project. Svensson asked: "Who is Ghisaline?" She moved to Nairobi in 2016 for UNEP, adopted the nickname "The African," and asked to stay in Epstein's Paris annex while apartment hunting. In March 2019 she asked Epstein to help route private philanthropic funding through an organization to employ her in Paris.
