Managing Director and CEO, Qatari Diar
Ghanim Bin Saad Al Saad served as Managing Director and CEO of Qatari Diar, the sovereign real estate and infrastructure investment fund of the State of Qatar. He is named in Epstein's archive in connection with the Congo Brazzaville bank project. A December 30, 2010 briefing from Philippe Jonnart, forwarded by Peter Mandelson to Epstein in January 2011, identified him as the Qatari funding source: "the Qatari interlocutor Jean-Yves met with in Brazzaville was Ghanim Bin Saad Al Saad, Managing Director & CEO, Qatari Diar." Jean-Yves Ollivier had already met him in Brazzaville before Mandelson or Epstein entered the picture. His role was as the target capital provider for the proposed private bank. Qatari Diar, established in 2005, manages real estate and infrastructure investments across more than 25 countries on behalf of the Qatar Investment Authority.
