Lawyer, Witan Group
David Stern of the Witan Group appears in 8 emails spanning 2011 to 2018. He represented Abdourahman Boreh, the Djiboutian port magnate, in litigation against the Republic of Djibouti. In October 2015 he told Epstein he was "helping Boreh win his case" and shared a Daily Mail article about the proceedings. In March 2016: "Boreh won his case 100%." He also briefed Epstein on China-Africa geopolitics, forwarding coverage of Xi Jinping's 2012 speech on China-Africa strategic partnerships. In March 2017 he asked Epstein to "check Rothschild for Boreh" ahead of a Geneva trip. His last email, in December 2018, reported a "big meeting Mubadala" and noted Dubai was "totally overbuilt."
